What is The Travel Wallet Experience?
Simply put, the HWT Travel Wallet Experience is our official voucher program. It allows you to purchase flexible travel vouchers for yourself or as the perfect gift for a loved one.
Think of it as a dedicated, non-interest-bearing travel fund, allowing you to save up for that incredible journey at your own pace! And you can top-up your fund at any time.
How does it work?
1. Join the program
To activate your Travel Wallet Experience, send your certified ID document and contact details to: Travelwallet@harveyworld.co.za.
We’ll register you and guide you through the activation steps. To help you with some trip inspiration, you’ll also be opted in to receive our latest travel news and offers.
2. Purchase Your Voucher
The options are limitless! You can buy vouchers for any value, starting from just R500. Just decide where you want to go and start saving toward your dream trip. Whether it’s a weekend getaway or a grand tour, we’re here to make it happen.
3. Redeem and Go!
When you’re ready to book, you simply redeem the voucher value towards your chosen trip, and you’re off.
Your Travel Wallet: The Essential Need-to-Knows
We’ve tried to keep the fine print simple, because no one likes a complicated start to an adventure!
- Getting started is easy: You can get started for as little as R500. It’s the easiest way to start building your travel fund, one bit at a time.
- Time is on your side: You get a very generous two full years (24 months) to decide and book your trip from the date of your first purchase. Just remember, once that two-year window closes, the voucher expires, so don’t let your dream wait too long!
- Changed your mind:No sweat! If you change your mind, you have 5 business days from the purchase date for a full, hassle-free refund. If life forces you to cancel the voucher later, just give us at least 30 days’ notice before the voucher expiry date—keep in mind, there will be a 25% admin fee at that stage.
- It’s a Great Gift (Until You Use It): The great news is that your voucher is fully transferable—perfect for gifting a family member or friend! Just be aware: once you’ve redeemed the voucher or used part of its value for a booking, it locks to that person and can no longer be transferred.
- When life happens: If the unexpected strikes after you have redeemed your voucher, we won’t leave you in the lurch. We’ll work with you to offer alternative travel arrangements however terms and conditions will apply.
- Trip paperwork:We’ll handle the itinerary magic and booking logistics –
you are responsible to ensure that you have a valid passport as per the destination requirements. We will assist on all other required paperwork like visas, so you’re ready to go.
